Made by people who have had this exact Tuesday.
A thin heat patch that sticks to your underwear, warms in 20 minutes and stays warm for up to 8 hours. No outlet, no cord, no pills. Nobody will know it is there.

Day one
The heating pad works. It also has a plug.
Most of us already know heat helps. The problem is that the thing that helps lives on the couch, and day one happens at work, in a lecture hall, on a train, on a shift. So you take the pills, or you sit on a warm laptop, or you just get through it.
“My new job isn't letting me have a plug-in heating pad. How do you guys survive day one?”

Sound familiar?
You've already tried everything that stays at home.
Each of these helps. None of them survives a commute, a class or a shift.
The plug-in heating pad
Works. Also needs an outlet, a couch and nobody watching.
Painkillers every 4 hours
Fine until your stomach, your doctor or the clock says no.
Hot water bottle, warm laptop
Twenty good minutes, then a cold lump on your lap.
Drugstore heat patches
Half of them never warm up. The other half fall off by lunch.
What was missing: the warmth of the pad, in something you can wear out the door and forget about.
How it works
Peel. Stick to your underwear. Get dressed.
Air starts the warming the moment you open the pouch. It goes on the outside of your underwear, never on skin, so it holds a comfortable warmth instead of a hot spot.
Peel
Open the pouch, peel the liner. Best done before you leave the house, so it is warm by the time you sit down.
Stick to underwear
Outside of your underwear, over where it hurts. Never on skin.
Get dressed
Warm in about 20 minutes, up to 8 hours. Thin enough for leggings. Off before bed.
What steady looks like
Illustration of the shape we test for: quick rise, long flat hold. Replaced with our measured curve once the thermometer test on the chosen patch is done.
Why heat, and why steady
Warm enough to work. Not hot enough to burn.
Heat relaxes the uterine muscle and increases blood flow to it, which is what the cramping is about. In randomised trials, low-level heat around 40 °C worn for 8 to 12 hours relieved cramps as well as ibuprofen, and the two together did better than either alone.
Skin burns start around 44 °C with long contact. That is why our patches go on underwear, not skin, and why we care more about a patch that stays warm all day than one that runs hot for an hour.

Choose your box
10 patches is about two cycles. Stock up or subscribe.
One printed box of 10. Pick how many, or let the Quarter Box arrive every three months and skip whenever you like.
What to expect
Twenty minutes to warm. Eight hours to forget it's there.
Peel and stick
Open the pouch, stick it to the outside of your underwear, get dressed.
Warm
You'll notice it through the fabric. Not hot, warm, and it stays there.
Forget it's there
Meeting, train, lecture, shift. Take it off before bed.
Put it on before it starts
Most people learn to stick one on before leaving the house on day one. That's when it works best.
Fair questions
The things people ask before they buy.
Honest answers, including the one about heat not working for everyone.
Is it hot enough? Other patches felt like nothing.
The most common complaint about heat patches is that they never get warm or fade in an hour. We picked our patch by taping a thermometer to it for eight hours and choosing the one that held its warmth longest without running hot. If yours doesn't warm, we replace the box.
Can it burn me?
Worn as directed, on the outside of underwear, the fabric layer keeps it in the comfortable range. Never put it on bare skin, never sleep in it, don't trap it under a tight waistband, and take it off after 8 hours. Full warnings are on the box.
Will it fall off?
The adhesive is made for fabric, not skin. Press it on for a few seconds, then get dressed as normal. It stays put through a commute, a class and a walk. It is not waterproof.
Can I see it under clothes?
It is a few millimetres thick and lies flat. Under jeans, leggings or a skirt, nothing shows. Under a thin white dress you might see an outline.
Does heat even work for me?
Not for everyone. Roughly one in six people say heat does little for their cramps. If that's you, a patch won't change it, and we'd rather say so here than in a refund email. If pain is stopping your life, please see a doctor; that can be a sign of something treatable.
Can I sleep with it on?
No. Take it off before bed. It is a day product.
How many do I use per cycle?
One a day on the worst days. A five-day period with a patch every day is five; heavy days with one on the front and one on the back are more. A box of 10 covers about two cycles.
Shipping, returns, the guarantee?
Ships within 2 business days, tracked delivery in 7–10 business days (US) or 10–14 business days (international), plain mailer. Opened patches can't be returned for hygiene reasons; instead, if any patch doesn't warm, message us and a new box ships.
Warm all day. On all day. Out of sight.
Thalpea started with one question: why does the thing that helps most have to stay at home? We don't promise a cramp-free life. We promise a patch that warms, stays warm, stays on, and stays out of sight, and a box on the way before you need it.
